Matthew Smith Matthew Smith has worked with Phillips & Cohen since 1999. He manages intake of potential new qui tam cases for the firm's Washington, D.C., and San Francisco offices and assists on a wide variety of whistleblower lawsuits. Mr. Smith graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1997, where he served as president of the Student Bar Association and as student delegate to the American Bar Association. While in law school, he interned at the Torts Division of the Washington State Attorney General's Office. He earned his undergraduate degree in Law & Society from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1994.
